WordPress Plugins are small open source PHP scripts which have the power to transform a WordPress installation into anything the user wants such as an online store, a social networking website or even a content management system as a backend for a normal website. Even though some WordPress plugins are available at a price, most plugins are available for free from the WordPress Plugin directory.
