How to require a user to change the password on next login?
There are some cases in which you might need a user to change the password the next time they log in to your WordPress website.
This can be easily achieved with MelaPress Login Security. All you need to do is:
- Navigate to the user’s profile page
- Scroll to the bottom of the page
- Enable the setting Reset password on next login highlighted in the screenshot below
- Click Update User
That is all. The next time the user tries to log in, they will be prompted to change the password, otherwise, they won’t be able to login to the website.
